Four steps. Most collectors finish step three in their first sitting.

Step 1

Pick up where someone left off.

The hardest part of tracking a collection is the schema — figuring out which fields matter, which sets exist, what the numbering scheme is. I Has Stuff ships with thousands of collector-built checklists already done: Hot Toys, the 2023 Pokémon 151 set, Criterion spines #1–#1200, vinyl discographies, sneaker drops, the lot. Pick the one that matches yours and you skip a week of setup.

Step 2

Mark, rate, photograph.

Tap to mark each item as Owned, Wanted, For sale, or Open to trade. Add a 5-star rating, a price, a photo. Ratings and photos are what turn someone else's checklist into yours.

Step 3

Your profile goes live.

Every collection has three visibility settings:

Public — listed on your profile at ihasstuff.com/u/you, shareable, indexable. This is the default.
Unlisted — anyone with the link can view, but it's not on your profile and search engines won't index it.
Private — just for you. Useful for sensitive items or works in progress.

You can flip any collection between modes any time. Nothing is locked.

Step 4

Value, insure, trade.

Once your collection is structured, the rest comes for free. The value dashboard shows you what your collection is worth and how that's moved over time. The insurance report exports a polished PDF you can hand straight to your insurer. The trade matcher surfaces collectors who have what you want and want what you have.

None of these are separate products. They're all just things that happen because your collection has structure.
